1. The service

Meeting Scribe is a browser extension that captures the transcript of online meetings you attend, produces AI summaries, and stores your meeting history on your device. Some features (AI summaries, speech recognition) use our cloud service, subject to a monthly quota that depends on your plan.

2. Plans and quotas

The Free plan includes a monthly allowance of summaries and transcription minutes, shown in the extension. Allowances reset on the first day of each month and do not carry over. We may adjust Free plan limits with notice inside the extension. Paid plans, when offered, are governed by the terms shown at purchase.

3. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for complying with recording and privacy laws and your organisation's policies, including informing other participants where required.
You must not use the service to process content you have no right to process, or to abuse the AI quota (for example by automating requests).
You are responsible for keeping backups of data stored on your device; we do not hold copies of your transcripts.

4. AI output

Summaries and cleaned transcripts are generated automatically and may contain errors or omissions. They are an aid, not a record of legal standing. Review them before relying on them.

5. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Capture features that read Microsoft Teams depend on Microsoft's interface and may stop working when Microsoft changes it; we update the extension as quickly as we can.

6. Intellectual property

You own your transcripts, summaries and exports. We own the extension, its name and design. Microsoft, Teams and related marks belong to Microsoft Corporation; Meeting Scribe is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft.

7. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time by uninstalling the extension. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (zero for the Free plan). We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
